I had an opportunity for free tickets to this thing, and I was excited to find someone to go with. Thing is, I had to put in the name of a guest to get 2 tix, so I spent all this time trying to find someone to go with. Last person I tried said they can’t, and now I can’t even go alone because now the tix are all gone.
I’m so tired of going to everything myself. I’m so tired of spending hours trying to find someone to go with me, just for them to bail at the last minute anyway. Ugh, so annoyed.
Does anyone have any tips? I am completely at a loss and worn out.

Try and join a local group, like on meet-up, classes doing something you enjoy, if there are any local discords, etc. If your city has a subreddit you can ask places to meet people on there. There’s a discord in my town I found through reddit and people ask if anyone wants to do things often, usually someone will join. Bowling, boardgames, etc.
