I’ve got to say – I am really confused. Matched with this girl near the end of October. We chatted for a few days (mostly 1-2 messages a day) so after a week I tried to ask her out and she just disappeared for like another whole week. Came back and told me that she went to Florida for a trip and she is still there and she’ll be back in a couple weeks.
Couple weeks goes by and she hits me up and asks what my IG is out of the blue. So I gave it to her and a few days later she sends me a follow request and we follow each other and I shoot her a message and we are chatting. I followed up about going out sometime this week and asked if she was free on Wednesday. Told me she was recovering from the flu (despite posting photos on her IG from her and her friends having Thanksgiving) and maybe another time.
And I am just like…so confused? Maybe she didn’t like what she saw on IG I just literally am so baffled lmao.
Has a similar thing ever happened to anyone?

Always another time, because it’s never going be a time. Chat with her for entertainment. That time she hits you up for your IG, she must have been particularly bored, waiting in line at the post office maybe.
Drop her from your friend list. If she reaches out, block her. Your time is important too, and you don’t have it to waste on timewasters.
