Hi I’m (M22) meeting my gf’s (F20) parents for the first time for thanks giving. We have been together for about an year. This has been my longest relationship and the very first time i have ever met any of partner’s parents. So I’m both excited and nervous.
I have already introduced her to my parents. But she hasn’t told her dad about me yet. I don’t know the reason, and don’t want to be assuming anything. But from what I’ve heard, he can be a bit overprotective of her. (This is also the first time she is introducing her boyfriend to her parents as well)
Anyways, i need advice on how not be nervous and what to expect. Maybe I’m just overthinking it. But I want to show her dad that I’m serious about my girlfriend and want to get on the fam’s good side.
