Why not ask your local taxi company if they’re happy to do this? Madness right??
What did the taxi firm say when you called them?
Allowing for the fact that with a taxi you will be paying for the distance and time, and you could be queuing at the tip for quite sometime it may be cheaper to hire a man and a van to dispose of it for you, just make sure they are licensed waste registered.
“Are you trade?”
“Well yes, the taxi trade”
Taxi will go any where you want, they will probably charge a waiting fee while at the tip. Just make sure what your taking is bagged or boxed so you don’t mess up the drivers car and don’t expect them to help you.
Only if you tip.
Of course aha?
But they’d charge you for the waiting time etc. And it depends how much stuff you have. I’d call and explain!
Why not just rent a van for a few hours. I’ve done that before.
Local one requires you to book, using the car reg number. Could be tricky to get the cab number and also arrange to get there within the time window.
