I matched with a girl and want to ask her out, but she’s blind and my normal date ideas don’t really work (either due to the blindness, or Minnesota getting cold but not really being winter yet)

I prefer to do an activity for a first date that we’re still able to talk during, but struggling to think of ideas that fit that and I can be sure she’s capable of enjoying (would she like an aquarium if she can’t see the fish? etc)

Anyone have suggestions for date ideas?

  1. The simplest thing to do is to ask her, but maybe you could do a wine tasting or something similar?

  2. Well why not just focus on taking a walk, do dinner, or perhaps just talk to her some while window shopping together to get an idea of her hobbies so you can better plan a date after getting a feel for what interests her?

  3. petting zoo, concert, walk around an indoor area, dinner, coffee date, carriage ride, snow ball fight let her win to be clear you don’t hit her and everything she throws hits you.

  4. I have no experience with blind people, but I would say that they always agree their other senses are better because of it. Perhaps take a view into her world and go to a restaurant where they blind fold you and have a laugh or two when you are comparing with eachother how you taste foods and such. Sharing music, vibrations, or just white noise from a beach and feeling the wind on your skin even in the winter may just be as enjoyable to you as it could be for her or him.
