I’m a part of the Asian Student Association Club in my high school. It’s basically just a casual socializing club, sometimes we do some activities but most of the time it’s just people talking to each other and having fun. The problem is that I’m new to the school and don’t really know anyone. Everyone already has their own groups that they talk in and I’m just stuck on the outside. In the last meeting we had I was sitting by myself until some people I knew came in from another club and I was able to talk to them. I’m not really shy so to speak but starting off cold with one person is hard enough, trying to integrate with people that are already with others is a completely different story. Any tips? I have another meeting on Tuesday and I want to be able to talk to people I’ve never met before.
