Hey guys. I’ve been working in another uk city for the last few years. I had the opportunity to go to London after graduating but with covid and lack of friends to live with I decided it wasn’t worth it for me. I thought that it would be better to save up money and move there when I had a bigger salary.
I’m slightly regretting my decision. The work social life seems a lot better there than most places. Just seems to have a buzz that I feel I missed out on and I’m now a little worried I’m too old to experience that (I’m 27).
This may sound stupid. But im worried that all the best people my age (including women) will have moved there, met a bloke and settled down by the time I get there. And then I’ll have missed the boat. And I won’t be one of those higher class people anymore.
Does anyone have any experience of living there at my age? Or find they regret not having been there as a grad?
