This happened on Thursday. I wanted to work with my exam before Friday so i could get a feedback on it. She didnt like that, she wanted me to spend the Thursday night with her since i was leaving Friday. I told her we could hang together on Friday before i was leaving but she was just ignoring me.

Today is Sunday and we havent talked since. I want to break up, but i dont want to hurt her even more, i think its over between us anyway. She dont have anything to be mad over imo, i thought she would respect my decision since i really had the need to work with my exam that day. I have been listening to her every time she asked me to come over, but now when i dont want to she gets mad. Should i just move on or should i talk to her?

TL;DR: We have been together for a only a month, and i have already met someone else i really like.

  1. No, don’t break up with her for this, disagreements happen all the time. Talk to her and explain the reason why again in a calm manner. Going on to someone else has its own host of problems, it seems perfect in the beginning but there will be problems as time goes on. Work through your issues with her, don’t walk away. That means each issue you have in a relationship you would walk away from ?

  2. I’d say from your tone in the post and comments since, it’s less about making time for her and more about your attitude regarding the situation.

  3. Sorry, this was a stupid post. I should obviously talk to her. I should explain to her more clearly why i did what i did, and this is of course nothing to break up over. I just had so much to deal with this morning, i told her i will call tonight 🙂
