Hi everyone,I went to the pub on my own and met new people to watch the world cup. After the game was finished, they invited me to go to another pub (I know the pub really well) this Friday but for a birthday party of the group. I said yes, but I forgot to get their number. I had a really nice time with them and would like to have chance to meet them again but not sure if they would even remember me or they were just being nice. Would you still risk and go this Friday?

Absolutely go. Go and when you go to the table they are at immediately order a big plate of nachos extra cheese and a jug of beer. Share and have fun. Then, If they are cool they can get the next jug and the next jug. Have a great time! They obviously liked your company and want to hang more or they wouldn’t have invited you. Don’t doubt yourself!! (Also if the nachos are too pricy just get a basket of fries. Food is nice to ease the mood and it’s fun to break bread). Enjoy yourself, you are awesome and deserve to have fun! If there are only 2 or 3 people there, order a round of shooters, hand grenades are expensive but will definitely get things going.
Look, if you know the address of the pub they’re going to, just go.
I always tell myself, if the atmosphere is boring or I’m not having great time or something doesn’t work out, I can always turn around and go home.
