Unrequited love is pretty bad. how do men of reddit handle it?

1. Make a list of all the things you enjoy, and try and do them. Spend time with friends and family. Play video games. Indulge in hobbies. Learn a new skill. Take a trip. Whatever makes you feel good.

   Teach your brain that you can enjoy your life as a single person.

2. I eventually just distanced myself from the person and got over it with distance

3. After rejection, is better to cutoff all communication with the person and focus your time in your hobbies, healing and improvement.

4. Stop falling in love with one girl. You’re setting yourself up for failure. As much as women like to romanticize a fairy tale love, it doesn’t exist. Improve yourself; your looks and your wealth, and you’ll have plenty of options.

7. Porn, it sounds stupid but part of that unrequited feeling is lust and its often the most powerful part of it. So cranking one out can really free up some clarity.

8. Recognize it’s not love, it’s infatuation. Don’t encourage those feelings with your actions or thoughts.

9. Focus on a new hobby/skill to take your mind off of those feelings.
