My bf 21M and I 22F had been together 1 Yr 8 months. We went through a very difficult time and it led to a break up for about 2 weeks. Everything has settled and we want to get back together. We had a talk and he asked me a question.
“Other than my love for you and without tying your answer to you, why should I get back with you?”
How do I go about answering this?

You don’t. That’s a question he needs to answer for himself. If he can’t answer that, if he doesn’t know why he should get back with you, then maybe it’s not a good idea.
To be honest, if someone asked me that question I’d just say “You know what, don’t bother.”
Edit: Sorry, this gets worse the more I think about it, got more to add. He’s basically asking you to demonstrate your value to him. Like this is Shark Tank or Dragon’s Den and he wants you to show why he should invest. It’s shady and manipulative.

I say answer honestly because love alone is not enough of a reason for 2 people to be together.
That question doesn’t make any sense and no one can give you any sort of remotely useful answer about your relationship if you don’t explain clearly why you broke up.
This sounds like a bullshit game he’s playing and life is too short for this kind of garbage.
If you have to cheat on this question by asking strangers to answer it for you maybe you should consider if you should answer it at all

A relationship is the love and respect that people have for each other. It should never be based on anything else. If he wants something other than the fact that he loves and respects you, and that you love and respect him, then he doesn’t love and respect you.
