I am a 26 y.o. female with a rather painful history of penetrative sex due to a super thick hymen. About a year ago, I finally saved up money and had a hymenectomy, which made penetration significantly more pleasurable, and I can finally explore the sweet spots inside the vagina while masturbating. Prior to the surgery I did not even want to touch vibrators.

Still, it takes literal centuries to get off by G-spot stimulation alone, and I feel somewhat insecure suspecting that my earlier experience created a mental link between pain and penetration in my brain.

Some time ago I read about Helen Singer’s bridge technique, which basically implies “training” yourself to reach orgasm via internal stimulation by delaying a purely clitoral orgasm. Has anybody here tried it with good results?

I have a rather understanding parter, unfortunately, our relationship is a long distance one right now, so I only have myself to practice with for now. 🙁

That would mean you’re like the majority of women who need some form of clitoral stimulation to get off. Trying to get off purely be penetration alone isn’t something most women can do. Given your situation/history, I’d just practice getting to know your body better in general but don’t try to force a g-spot orgasm. Just figure out what helps you climax the easiest/best.
