I can cook well enough, but would like to know what are a few good (easy) meals to prepare when having a FWB over for fun? Obviously nothing too filling, spicy, or loaded with garlic…

  1. Something that the person already enjoys eating. Win win for u— person is fed, enjoyed it & feels seen/heard; meanwhile u get all the praise for coming through like that. Hopeeeeefully, the good vibes will be evident during the do.

  2. My favorite thing to do is make a modified charcuterie board.

    * The board: your typical array of cheeses, veggies, nuts, bread/crackers, olives/pickles.
    * The modification: Arrange around the outside, leave the center open, and in there put a lovely steak sliced into “bite” sized pieces.

This lets people sort of consume what they want as far as amount. Also is an impressive display, that shows you went to good effort on the steak and arrangement. It also lasts a while, as opposed to “here, eat your pre-portioned plate”.

  3. Your choice of protein with a side of salad, maybe a cobb salad with chicken? Any kind of soup! Potatoes/rice can be a great side in small amounts. Aside from bloating greasy/garlicy foods, I think smaller portion sizes will be the key here.

  4. Another vote for charcuterie/cheese/crackers. Throw some fruit in there as well. Nothing too heavy or overwhelming in smell or aftertaste.

Also, always consider Dan Savage’s “Fuck first, then eat” advice…

  5. This isn’t really a sex question, and we don’t know what you guys like to eat. When I hang out with my fwb I usually bring him tacos from the taco truck, or make eggs and hash browns in the morning if he stays overnight. Bc he likes that stuff. You should ask her what she likes.

Very important you should save the food for after sex. I always tell my fwb that we have to wait til after to eat bc I don’t wanna throw up while I’m chocking on his dick.

  6. I’ve always enjoyed making pizza with partners of any kind. It can be a fun collaborative process that can be personalized pretty easily.

  7. As much as a home cooked meal would be great. It becomes a lot of pressure and stress sometimes and if you mess up it’s very awkward.

I’de rather order out something consistent yet very good. You can always blame the restaurant if it’s bad and laugh about it.

  8. My fwb and I used to do charcuterie board, or nachos, or just order something in like Vietnamese.. actually rice paper rolls is good too, light but still delicious and easy to make if you want to cook at home. But always food after sex.

  9. **Risotto al funghi -** 20 minutes

    * fry 200 g risotto-rice in a high pan until it turns to a light buttery color
    * add olive oil, butter, diced onions and a glass (250 ml) of white-wine
    * add mushrooms (I Like a mix of quartered funghi and cep)
    * when the wine reduces a bit, add the same amount of vegetable stock or water and stock cubes
    * when the rice is done (after about 15 to 20 minutes – try it) mix 200 g of Parmesan cheese in the risotto and finish your creamy oeuvre with salt and pepper to your heart’s content. Don’t salt the risotto before you add the Parmesan as the cheese brings salt of its own.

Have at it ;o) and serve the rest of the wine with the risotto

I like a bit of garlic – it mustn’t be dominant, just a bit ;o) but you can pass on it if you are not a fan.

  10. Honestly, the only way I roll at this point is a Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes croissant, Igbosian Ogazi quail Egg, Samundari Khazana Curry, Bar le Duc hand-seeded redcurrant jam, Kopi Luwak coffee, and a champagne and Chambord cocktail. Then I finish with a fresh Ponchik filled with 1976 Dom Perignon champagne jelly topped with a 24-carat gold leaf, white chocolate flowers dusted in gold and edible diamonds. A Fourchu Lobster claw and six Coffin Bay King Oysters. Complimented with a side of 6oz. of Iranian Almas.

  11. Bro, buy a ribeye for two and make a bomb ass mashed potato with cream and butter, make some glazed asparagus as a little side and cut the rib eye for the both of you…

..To serve with a glass of red wine of course. The whole meal is cooked in 20min and meat and wine with some nicely cooked sides will definitely please your FWB.

(if she’s vegetarian, make a mushroom risotto with parmesan and grab a bottle of dry, slightly fruity white wine)
