I should not show my true nature If my idea is controversial and unconventional is that right ?

1. It’s safer to show that among like-minded/similar individuals. Or people who tend to be really open to new ideas and unconventional opinions.

   There are definitely people like that, but you have to work harder to find them.

   As far as with regular mainstream people, all I can say is that it might be worth ‘testing the waters’ with a smaller idea, or maybe less emphatic opinion, before going strongly in that direction.
