I don’t live in Scotland, and I’m not even Scottish, yet I get ads for ScotRail, Scottish Police and such, I’m baffled and confused. For extra context I live in South Northumberland, so I’m not even that close to the border.

  2. Where are you getting these adverts? If it’s on your pc or phone then there’s a decent chance the geo location for your IP is North of the border.

    https://www.whatismyip.com/ should tell you what location your IP is tied to.
