Someone I work close with seems to show signs of interest (laughing at all my jokes, eye contact, working in close proximity to me). I’ve grown really fond of her through the time I’ve spent with her, and would like to get to know her more. However, I have submitted my two weeks notice to leave my position soon, and asked her if she wanted to join me and my other coworkers to dinner as a result.
She said no due to her upcoming examinations, but didn’t offer any other alternative time / when she will be free. Should I still text her to see if she would like to get dinner some other time when she is free after exams? Or should I assume she doesn’t want to meet?
