be active on discord servers!! you can join big servers related to your interests and talk in general chats, just be friendly with others and most people will be friendly to you too. you dont have to be very committed to going on often but its a very good place to chill and talk to people, maybe even make friends. good luck! 🙂

My advice outside of discord would be to look at people who wear something unique and interesting to you. F.e. I was wearing a batman t-shirt when I was on a city trip and this random guy walks by humming the batman theme song. If I wasn’t with a friend I would definitely have said something. Not necessarily to make friends but it’s always nice to meet people with similar interests 🙂
