I f(19) and my partner m(19) were engaging in foreplay. We are very sex positive and there’s nothing wrong with our sex life but this one day I just couldn’t get turned on. I was completely dry and I was trying so hard because I didn’t want to disappoint him. (He’s very understanding not an asshole, it’s just one of those thoughts) So I tried to rub myself and realized I couldn’t feel my clit. It was completely numb and felt like it wasn’t there and I started to freak out. Any ideas of how/ why this happens ?

  1. A clit is essentially a very small penis. It’s the same tissue as the head of a penis. When you’re not aroused it’s not as stiff/very slightly enlarged so depending on the shapes of your various labia’s and size of clitoris it could essentially “Disappear” if you’re not excited.

  2. It could the the fact that you weren’t turned on that you couldn’t find it. If there’s no blood flow to that area, it won’t be as enlarged and thus you may not find it as easily!

  3. You just were not aroused. You need more foreplay. Or, have your partner suck that area which will bring blood flowing and get it to grow. They make toys that do this too.
