What’s the point of having expensive shoes when you won’t wear them?

1. You can sell it online for much higher price

2. What’s the point in having common sense if you don’t use it?

3. Collector’s item.

   Either resale value or the person’s hobby.

4. You dont wear them you eat them

5. I don’t, but some men (“sneakerheads”) collect shoes as a hobby. Gotta keep them in mint condition!

6. They don’t decrease in value. Like designer handbags/purses they only increase. They are investments.

7. Sometimes it’s gratifying to just know you own the item. I am dyslexic so I don’t read books, but I listen to audiobooks all the time. I own signed limited print copies of some of my favorite series even though I’ll never actually read the books. I’m not holding onto them to resell or give to family after I pass, I just enjoy having them.

8. Collectibles. Same reason you buy a lot of games and never play them.

9. Funerals are tricky to predict.

10. No idea. I mean… they’re shoes?
