would you get a Massage from a Male Massage Therapist, why or why not?

  1. If it’s just a normal, family friendly massage with nothing else attached to it? Sure, why not.

  2. No.

I have no rational, mature justification for it. It always just felt ‘off’ to me, the idea makes me uncomfortable and I know I wouldn’t be able to fully relax with another dude giving me a rub down, the idea of a guy oiling me up makes my skin crawl.

I know it’s dumb to feel that way, but I really can’t help it. I regularly get massages as part of sports rehabilitation and I’ve never been able to look at one of the guys and think “yeah, I bet he has strong hands, let’s do it.” Just awkward.

  3. I prefer it tbh.

In my experience, male massage therapists have bigger and warmer hands, more pressure when needed and generally know a male body better.

I get a little uncomfortable with a female therapist in that – maybe it’s because I’m gay or something, but having a woman give me a massage just feels a little off. Its not sexual with a male therapist or anything creepy like that, but I can’t relax knowing I’m going to get brushed by boobs. It’s the same thing in a barbers – I hate that bit where they’re doing the side of my head and they use my shoulder as a boob-shelf.

  4. if you’ve never had a massage, it’s easy to say no.

once you’ve had one, and realize what you’ve been missing….you won’t give a flyin flip about who’s doing it.

  5. I usually prefer male masseurs, because they are stronger, and can massage out the knots from my muscle. I tried female masseurs as well, but they simply can’t provide the same result.

  6. I prefer massages from male therapists, most female therapists don’t have the finger strength for a deep tissue massage

  7. No, I love personal services from women, but I don’t like having men in my space. (My wife has even stronger feelings about not wanting women close to her.)

  8. Yes. I like to think I can differentiate between a therapy and romance. My only 2 professional massages were by women, but they could benchpress me.

I’d probably be more worried about an attractive younger female giving me a massage than a man. Even then any awkwardness would be my fault not hers.

  9. Yeah as long as hes not looking me in the eyes during my happy ending… oh wait thats different….

  10. I don’t feel comfortable getting a massage from anyone aside from a partner.

I know it’s a job to them but it still feels like I’m forcing someone to touch my body when they’d rather not. What if they’re disgusted the whole time?

  11. I have muscle tension and knot problems . Don’t care if the masseur is a woman or a man . If he or she is professional , license , and good at his or her job im ok whit it 👍

  12. I had one massage from a male physical therapist. I teased him when I asked him if he was married. He said no and I said do you want to be. He blushed and stopped massaging me and a girl came into to finish me. I laughed my ass off.

  13. Sports massage after skiing? Absolutely (had one in Bulgaria this February)

    Relaxation massage? Probably not

  14. I don’t care about male or female as long as they have strong enough hands to massage the shit out of me. (Not literally, for obvious reasons)

  15. Sure. I had a coach give me a massage after each workout session when I was going to the gym. And I don’t think I’d have issues with a man giving me a therapeutic massage, or a massage to relax my body.

  16. If I’m paying for a massage for relaxation reasons I’d rather have a woman rub on me but If i need a sports massage probably a dude.

  17. Trust him over a women tbh, nowadays you never know when you’re gonna get that little sa accusation, so it’s best to not take chances.

  18. Fuck yeah. Literally would prefer it. Get in there bro, i have some shit that hurts real bad. Make it better.

  19. I’m gay, so yes, I love having men rub all over me 😜

But also, men tend to be stronger and know a man’s body better, so if I’m going to get a massage, happy ending or not, I want that.
