So I met this girl at club while I was starting to get blackout drunk, I remember what we talked about kinda clearly and what we did is hazy. We went back to her car in which she sent me home cause I was too far gone. I got her number but completely forgot her name (an issue I have sober also), I tried to ask right off the bat in text but put in a 2 part question one so probably skipped on accident since I do the same shit sometimes. I set up a date Saturday and no name, should I be straight up when we meet again or ask again in text or is there any easier way about this?
Also I’m 22m and this will be my first date like ever so I got both aspects of being nervous of being an idiot and not knowing shit about dates lol
TL:dr= got drunk, had a good connection with a girl, completely forgot her name and setup a date all with out getting her name

Personally, I would want a partner in life who can roll with the punches and not take life (and themselves!) too seriously.
In your shoes, I would just confess. Don’t over-apologize. Just ask.
If she laughs and teases you about it, that’s great! If she gets over-offended, she’s too uptight and not the girl for you.
Be prepared to show her what you saved as her name in your phone, though. Because that would definitely be my question! It better be charming! 😉
Use callback humor with nicknames and jokingly ask what her real name is
