Is it a premium brand? Luxurious brand? Regular wear brand? In our country, it’s damn costly and considered a premium brand.

  1. They’re pretty expensive, but I wouldn’t say they’re the most “premium” brand. Looking at the website, a simple polo shirt is $70. That’s a lot

  2. Tommy Hilfiger hasn’t been popular here in a VERY long time lol. I actually kind of forgot they existed, I haven’t heard anyone mention them in ages.

I just went to their website and on the Women’s side a bag is about $149, sweaters are about $90, pants are about $120, sneakers are about $100. Plus there’s a 40% off sale going on right now.

So it’s like mid-tier. Definitely not high-end or luxury.

  3. It was really popular… I think it kind of came back when teens started emulating 90’s fashion but idk if it’s really back.

  4. About 20-25 years ago it was a popular brand that was fairly pricey. From the other comments I’ve seen they’re way to expensive for how popular are now.

  5. It was popular here for a little while, but I use to see shirts at discount clothing stores. I remember their Tommy cologne in the 90s being really popular

  6. They were super popular when I was in middle school in the 90s. Haven’t seen them since.

  7. Apparently, it was popular the ’90s, but I don’t remember it. I’m not even 100% sure what their logo looks like.

  8. Aussie here. Late nineties it was dope as fuck here. Then kinda petered out. I went to the US in 99. Loaded up on that shit.

I have noticed it has made a slight comeback here in the past 6-12 months, but only with a select group who have appeared to taken to it again.

    My two cents.

Tommy cologne is the bomb however, love that shit just like CK One. But that’s me 😛

  9. This question just made me realize I have 2 Tommy Hilfiger polo shirts. Aside from the cool little logo, they’re almost similar to any other polo shirt I have. The quality seems pretty good i guess, and I do wear em when trying to be a *bit* more class. I would say Ralph Lauren is probably a step above…

A lot of people are making jokes about the clothes being old. I guess that’s true, but a polo shirt is timeless no matter what brand. Maybe they’re referring to obnoxious looking items..

  10. I still keep some TH staples in my closet, kiddo likes their polos, and some of their home stuff matches some of my decor. The quality is decent and I like the color pallette and simple designs.

  11. I like some of the more basic, less “branded” items they sell. I always know it’s going to be made well and last. I agree, they were trendy in the 90’s, but i don’t care at all about trends. When i was skinny, a long time ago, they were the only brand i could find jeans in a tiny size with a tall/long inseam.

  12. It’s a common brand in close-out and damaged stores here in the US. 60% markdown.

  13. Everyone is calling Tommy Hilfiger outdated fashion and I’m awkwardly side-eyeing my closet

  14. Tommy Hilfiger clothes were what the asshole kids of middle class assholes made sure to wear in the 90’s, then it kind of faded from existence.

  15. It’s starting to get popular here again in NYC with their rebrand. But it’s not what well off people wear. I noticed this same trend whenever I visited the Caribbean and Mexico too it’s very popular there

  16. They were the only brand cut in a style that fit me off the rack in high school. Loved the brand. Wear it less now
