  1. I’m not sure what you’re looking for, but I’ve had this one for years: [https://www.kkmcdesign.com/](https://www.kkmcdesign.com/)

It’s just a chunk of machined aluminum with a strap. It’s not much good for carrying cash, but that’s great for me. On the classic, if you manage to kill the strap, you can get a new strap in a variety of materials, elastic or not.

  2. I’ve got a ridge wallet with a cash clip that has lasted me a while. Im sure knock offs are fine. I will probably will never go back to a folded leather wallet after using this so long.

  3. I have a leather Coach wallet that I’ve been using for over 20 years. It’s kind of beat up but still holding together

  4. a larger (vertical) ladies wallet with many pockets, instead of the classic pocket sized mens horizontal opener. forget the push for minimalism

stay with me here. i need a receipt its always there. i need to hold tickets or parking passes, they are in there, not fumbling in my pocket or bag. i can keep cash that doesnt get all crumpled, i can get a free coffee with my membercard i carry around, not dependent on my phone to be charged to pay or any of that nonsense

just returned something from 5 months ago, the receipt was in there, no sweat, instead of being discarded by accident

its big enough that i can easily check if im missing it,

if im at the bar and i need minimalism i throw a card into my phone case, which also has a spot for it

  5. I have a leather roots wallet that’s lasted 16 years. Comes with me everyday. I’ve lost it twice, still bring every day.

  6. I’ve had the “Carlos” single fold wallet from Big Bend Saddlery for about 7 years. It’s solid. I have jumped out of airplanes with it and carried it in country for months on end without it falling apart. I have put it in a double thick ziplock at some points where I knew I may have to swim, but it’s held up to sweat and dirt well.

  7. I just go to the local flea market and pick one up for $6. Even if it lasts me a year, it’s still a better buy than the $30+ one at a department store that lasts 3-4 years.

  8. Go to r/bifl and check out their suggestions. Saddleback Leather has some great reviews and a lifetime warranty
