I (27F) from Asia have been dating this guy (29M) from Europe. We matched on a dating app and were talking for 3 months. After that, we moved our conversation to Facebook messenger and have been doing calls (audio or video) almost every day for almost a year now.

In my culture, especially in my family, it’s important that I have to introduce the guy first to my parents before we take the relationship further. He did tell me he wants to take it further, and he would probably meet me in person for the time next year.

Should I tell my parents about him and introduce him via video call to my parents first before I let him go here? Or should I introduce him in person when he finally visits here? I really like him and he feels the same. We are both trying our best to make it work despite the 7-hour time difference.

Any advice on my situation? Especially those who probably are / were in the same situation as mine? This is a serious concern.
