Theres this girl who works at the same hotel as me that is from a different department I see her from time to time and all we do is say hi to each other and she recently I saw her as someone i might know on Facebook we texted very mildly I am not much of a good texter and I really don’t know how to approach her to talk or text her I’m not even sure if I should be wasting my time on trying

Have you acknowledged that you know each other from the hotel? If so try getting to know her.
Don’t look at as having to be a “good texter’ or w/e. You’re interested in this girl, right? Welp, talk to her about things you’re interested in about her.
Well, if you are gonna bring this into the physical world, you need to physically talk to her. Catch her in the hallway, ask her something like “so do we have like a million little bottles of soap?” Laugh when you say it, smile. Any nervous or unconfident actions she will bolt. You got this brotha!
