“Cop bars” are definitely a thing in the USA. Big cities, mainly.
Bars that cater to and are patronized by mostly cops exist but it’s not as though only cops are allowed in.
I doubt there are any where they like check your ID at the door or whatever, but there are definitely cop bars where most of their clientele are LE.
Cop bars exist. They are not for exclusive use though. People associate with people like themselves.
They’re real but anyone can use them it just tends to be where a bar where they congregate.
I had one in my town growing up. That’s where the cops would drink, so it was a different vibe, so most of the young crowd didn’t go there, further cementing cop bar vibe
There’s one around the corner from me. Look up Ferrell’s in Brooklyn, it’s a cop/firefighter bar in a recent formerly majority working class Irish neighborhood. Anyone can go in, but you get stared down if you’re not a regular or cop by the patrons.
There are bars heavily populated by cops and that wind up catering to them in the same way a bar might cater to a particular sports crowd but it’s just who the clientele is rather than like…a rule or law.
It’s more that nobody wants to be around cops, so whatever place welcomes them, they stay
There are pubs and bars that firefighters and cops frequent, but it’s not closed off to others. Think of it like a place where you go with your coworkers after work lol.
Pretty common. They’re called cop bars. But, anyone can go in. It’s just a place where police are familiar with and congregate.
