Who all in your life know about your dreams/ goals? What does it take to be one of them?

  1. The people who know about my dreams and goals are those who are close to me and who I can trust. To be one of them, it takes time, patience and understanding.

  2. Well, I generally share those sorts of things with folks I have a close, strong relationship with. My best friend is one such person. Occasionally, I discuss them with my parents as well.

  3. Only I do. Because of course, the only constant is change, so that way I don’t inadvertently or unintentionally allow anyone else to have any attachment to what I feel I need to accomplish.

  4. I share with my sister, but only when I’m really ready. And then everyone else can know when I do it.

  5. My dreams and goals aren’t specific to people I trust. If it comes up, which is does often, (old women are curious about the freedoms of choice for young women) I’ll tell them about what I job I really want but how I came to the job I’m currently at.

They’ll ask about kids, school, work, family, everything. And I’m pretty open about it all besides the relationship with my family and politics.

  6. My husband, because I can trust him not to think they’re ridiculous even if some of them might be lol

  7. My best friend. If I come to her with a completely outlandish goal that might be something really good she’s the first one to say, “Let’s do it.”

  8. My husband knows all my dreams/goals, he’s a part of some of them and my best confidant. My Dad who has mentored me throughout my career knows my professional goals, along with my Mom. I have one friend I can share just about anything with, she knows a lot. Trust and integrity are important to me, if you have neither you will never be in my inner circle.
