Men of reddit, What did your So(partner) do to shit-test you?

1. Lied and said she was pregnant.

4. When I returned a piece of underwear of hers she had left at my apartment, she tested me by acting as if it wasn’t hers. I was 100% faithful and way too experienced to not see through it, so it didn’t faze me.

   She ended up laughing it off, claiming it was a joke. I told her that I knew perfectly well that it was an attempt at getting information through pressure. Did give her a stern warning afterwards to not try such a thing again if she wants to keep me around. Shit-testing is for the stage before serious dating. When we are exclusive, we give each other stability. Life tests me enough as is.

   She hasn’t tried it since (was six months ago). Here is to hoping she took it seriously. Because I meant what I said.
