  1. I can’t speak to the necessity of multiple plan b pills in a row. If in doubt, you can always call a planned parenthood hotline for help.

As for the condom, double check that it’s not too small, use more lube, swap to a new condom if you’re going at it for a long time or multiple rounds, and check that she doesn’t have any hard granules in her vaginal fluids. One girl I was with as a teen had lots of tiny sharp granules (like table salt) in her fluid that shredded condoms and it’s hard for a teen girl to know what’s healthy or warrants a talk with her doctor.

And whatever you do, be patient and supportive.

  2. Are you putting the condom on correctly? Pinching the top? Is she turned on and relaxed? Condoms only ever broke for me when my body wasn’t really into it. You may need lube or more foreplay in future.

  3. There is a very high chance that you will be fine. Especially since she took it only 24 hours ago. Don’t sweat it too much. If you are really scared, go to planned Parenthood and ask what you should do. But I think the hormones stay circulating for a day or two after you take them. Did she bleed at all after taking the pill?

  4. Oils will eat through condoms, so it could be moisturizer or massage oils causing them to break?

I would try to keep track of her cycles, and do some learning on the fertile window, it makes all the difference. Plan B stops ovulation, so just the one should be fine for sex the next day if she wasn’t already ovulating. Just be warned that it will mess up her cycle, so expect a late period and consternation.
