Ex and I broke up 6m ago. We started texting again 2 months ago. We talked about reconcile again, but both don’t know yet. I said I do want to have sex with him. He said that its not that he doesnt want to have sex with me. But that he doesnt want me to feel like he doesnt care about my feelings.
I have no clue what this means???
Then he texted me maybe next weekend.

Each man is different. It could earnest, or it could be a way to build up your trust.
From what I understand, your Ex genuinely cares about you. It seems that he doesn’t want to rush into sex because he doesn’t want you to think that’s the only reason he wants to be with you.
Sounds like a good guy honestly. I think it means he actual genuinely cares about your well-being and doesn’t want a night of sex to hurt you mentally/emotionally. A lot of people fall back into stage 1 of healing when they have that intimate connection again with their ex but it doesn’t escalate to a relationship again.
