What is something that you didn’t need but bought completely on impulse?

  1. More cups! This house loves coffee mugs. I’ve finally had to set a limit for myself, no matter how cute the cup is.

  2. Earrings, books and journals. I buy way too much of this.

I love journaling and just cannot resist a cute journal. When I see one I just have to buy.

And I absolutely love books, even if I end up not reading for months. 70% of my bookshelf is just unread novels.

  3. Plushies and books or anything mouse/rat related.
I don’t need no more but I can’t stop myself.

  4. Pole saw (chain saw on 15ft pole). Saw it one day at home depot and I just knew I’d wear that thing out when I bought it (5 years ago).

Today, it’s still in the box, never been opened. I kept meaning to take it back, but kept forgetting it everytime I went to home depot. It’s been so long now that I doubt they’d take it back.

  5. A 2nd car. Not thinking oh everything I have to do for my car I have to do twice now ?! That only lasted so long.

  6. Lived in Omaha last year, kinda misery for winter…bought pantyhose like mad. Oroblu – L’eggs – Hanes, went completely bananas….a few dozen pairs a week. Most of em were L’eggs which I love to bits anyway. I once ordered so many the USPS person stacked them on my front door.

Moved to Wisconsin a few months ago. Absolutely perfect skirts and sheers weather. Not much pantyhose buying but I did get a nice drop from Hue and their opaques, prolly will order more.

  7. Luxury items, but we’re all doing the same.

Eg you can easily walk around in $10 shoes but you choose to get that branded sneaker

  8. Cocktail dresses. Giant enamel vases. An antique medicine cabinet. So many things but books are the number one impulse buy. I buy way too many ebooks based on the description and number of reviews only to find out they are garbage. I have bought an absurd amount so I don’t even bother to read past the first page if doesn’t have a good opening, I just move on to another book I haven’t started yet.

  9. Recently, The winter cottage [ a book] and a coven and co white sweater dress. I love both, but it’s the start of summer here, it was a totally whimsical purchase. I just really wanted to be cosy.

  10. Those stinking holiday birds at target. It started with a valentines postman bird that I saw in line and now my house looks like an aviary of festive birds.

  11. Probably all of my designer clothes and bags, I probably currently spent 10 grand on that in my life..

  12. A miniature orchid plant. I felt intrigued to see if I could keep it alive.

One year later, I’m obsessed and have almost twenty.

  13. Yarn.

It was on sale. It made sense to buy 2000m of every colour. I’ll use it all eventually. Or die trying.
