Doing a batch of chilli in the insta-pot. I put white onion, green onion, avocado, white shoepeg corn, roasted peppers and crackers on the top of mine. My son only like avocado. My wife like sour cream…… What are you guys throwing on your chilli?

  1. Best chili I’ve ever had was topped with a special, specific type of goat cheese, dude never would cough up the name of it but it made a world of difference.

  2. My chili is so stuffed with onion people complain. I like to roast fresh red peppers with olive oil, and they would go straight in too. I’ve never tried avocado or corn. I usually buy a whole huge French baguette when I make a pot of chili, instead of crackers. For toppings I normally do shredded 3 cheese blend, maybe if it’s a little too spicy I’ll do a tiny dollop of sour cream

  3. Pepper jack and cheddar cheese, and extra hot sauce

I’ll do a diced up avocado or guac if I have it around, but I wouldn’t buy it *just* for chili.

  4. Me? Maybe a little shredded cheese, and crackers. If it’s made right, you don’t need all of that extra….stuff…..on top of it.

  5. It all depends if the Chili its self is spicy or not. If not hold the sour cream and add in red pepper flakes and Tabasco. It is add the sour cream and some Tabasco to boot.

  6. Everyone needs to give cheez-its a go if your already doing crackers and shredded.

    Best of both worlds.

  7. Cheese, sour cream and raw onions. I don’t know why, but I like raw onions and hate cooked onions (even those that’re sauteed). Same way as with raw carrots vs. cooked carrots. I’ll pick out cooked carrots unless it’s in a dish where I can’t taste them.

  8. I could see avocado being good, but have never tried it. I am game with sour cream, crackers, cheese, diced onions, etc. It is popular to have your chili with a side cinnamon roll here as well.

  9. I’d rather throw corn bread under it than anything on top. Maybe some extra peppers if it’s mild.

My wife likes cheese, sour cream and chives.
