Sears Tower.
Probably the Chrysler building, I’m a sucker for art deco. I would have said the Eastern Columbia building out in LA but I think it’s too short for the criteria.
New World Trade Center. I love the symbolism of it.
Currently, probably the Empire State Building. Growing up it was the Twin Towers.
Does the Space Needle count? I enjoy that.
Chrysler building. There’s nothing like it…ok there may be. I don’t know shit about skyscrapers, but as the other commenter said, I love art deco.
[John Hancock Center](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Hancock_Center)
The empire state building specifically when it was lit up red white and blue for the world cup.
[Nebraska capitol building](https://capitol.nebraska.gov/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/front_elev_capitol21-78.jpg)
Empire State building. King Kong climbed that thing.
Empire State Building, hands down.
Name another one that a giant ape climbed up like in that documentary from the 30s
The Guardian Building, Detroit: https://www.guardianbuilding.com/
I dont really have a favorite, although I am partial to art deco architecture.
I think a very unique one that made me do a double take when I saw it is the Aqua Building in Chicago.
I like the old ones: Empire State, Chrysler & Woolworth
Chicago has a lot of great ones but my favorite is the [Chicago Board of Trade building](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicago_Board_of_Trade_Building). The way it sits at the end of LaSalle and gets framed by the buildings on either side just makes it feel special, and the statue of Ceres on the top is just really cool to me too
I love the Chrysler Building and the Empire State Building. I live in Atlanta and there are a lot of ugly tall buildings built in the last 20-30 years but my favorites locally are the ones people call the King and Queen on the perimeter (the ring created by i285). They are designed to look like stylized chess pieces and I just like to see them when I have reason to he on that otherwise-hellish road.
One World Trade Center. It’s probably my favorite in NYC and I haven’t been many other places in the US with memorable skyscrapers
Empire State Building for sure.
The Capitol records building in L.A.
Empire State Building and Chrysler Building in New York. Love Art Deco.
The Transamerica building is unique and fun to look at
The Big Bend:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Bend
Longest building in the world
(Im almost positive this won’t be built.. it’s over 1776’ tall after all)
This maybe doesn’t fit the traditional definition of a skyscraper, but it is a very large building and the most noteworthy part of the St. Louis skyline, [the Gateway Arch](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gateway_Arch#/media/File:St_Louis_Gateway_Arch.jpg).
The Washington monument
Seagram Building
East Coast: Chrysler Building
West Coast: Transamerica Pyramid
Depends on the city really. The Wrigley building has an old-time flair that I like. I like Rockefeller Center. I’m trying to keep away from the obvious icons.
Anyone seen renderings of the new building they want o put next to Grand Central?
Does Cinderella Castle count?
The Batman building (AT&T building) it’s so unique
[Carbide and Carbon building in Chicago ](https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1CDGOYI_enUS806US806&hl=en-US&sxsrf=ALiCzsaYfRWaiODcwwmxwIThcKV71I9Xqw:1671384395088&q=carbide+and+carbon+building&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjZwpuJ2IP8AhX1xykDHRvPAKwQ0pQJegQICRAB&biw=375&bih=634&dpr=3)
One PPG Place
Probably the Smith Tower in Seattle. I just think it’s cute.
801 Grand in Des Moines looks pretty neat
