Ok this one is a bit of a long story. I’m 17, and I’ve been friends with this girl for a year or two, known her a lot longer. In January of this year I told her I liked her, and she said she wasn’t ready for anything. We had a sort of thing going on for most of the year and nothing happened, and then in October she asked if we wanted to start dating. I was very happy and said yes. A few weeks later she said she had realized she was a romantic and sort of just “loves a lot of people” and it wasn’t personal. We broke up in early November. She’s still a very good friend, but I want to have a discussion with her about what she thinks love is, and how we view it differently. Am I desperate? Should I just move on? I want to have this conversation without jeopardizing our friendship but it’s very obvious what I’m trying to talk about.

This girl is crazy and isn’t GF material. You are in love with her and too scared to lose her attention so your toleranting her BS.
