This may seem stupid but like… is men’s underwear really that expensive???

Like women we have deals where it’s like “7 for $35 panties” and I’m trying to find something similar so I can get my bf some new boxer briefs but everything I’ve found online is like “3 for $50” or “6 for $120”. I had no idea your underwear was so pricy!

  1. Ralph Lauren or the like for quality but it’s overpriced. Target or the like for Hanes or Fruit of the Loom which is way cheaper but quality does slip a bit

  2. They’re all very expensive, the best quality vs cost that I’ve found is Pair of Thieves Superfit Boxer Briefs.

I buy most of mine at Target

  3. Wherever I happen to be clothes shopping… Amazon, Macy’s, the Gap, I can find something at any store.

Last time I bought underwear it was $22 for a 2-pack of UnderArmour boxer-briefs at Amazon.

  4. Online…..you’ll get the big pack deals. In Aussie we have been taken over by ‘Step one’ brand and ‘Tradie’ brand. The step ones are actually very high quality with bamboo fabric that stops chaffing etc and they discount on number ordered, so the more you buy the cheaper they become per unit.

You prob can’t get them over there (or they might be called something else) but every second Aussie male would have some Step one undies.

  5. Calvin Klein has a discount or on sale section I’ve been going to the last few times. They’re the same quality and everything. Probably just didn’t sell for whatever reason.

I buy whatever the best deal seems to be.

  6. Just like all clothing, including women’s, prices depend on quality, material and brand. Standard cotton boxers and briefs from Hanes and Fruit of the Loom are pretty cheap. You can get a 5-pack for under $20. You must be looking at some really fancy overpriced or ultra luxurious underwear to cost $20 a pair.

  7. Just get a set from Victoria’s Secret or wherever for you and give half the pack to him.

    Efficiency!

  8. Discount stores like Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s. I look for clearance. Multipacks wind up being about 2 bucks a pair.

  9. I have different kinds. Some for working out like compression shorts I buy at scheels or Amazon.

I have just regular daily wear champion brand boxer briefs that I believe I got at Costco.

I wear marmot and Sitka for hunting/hiking camping backpacking. Bought at cabelas.

For special occasions I wear SAXX I buy on Amazon.

  10. H&M black boxer shortie briefs. I used to be a Calvin Klein guy and also did some other brands, but I love these more and they aren’t expensive at all

  11. I like underarmour boxerjock, Amazon has them on sale sometimes, usually 2 for $20 though. Hanes are good too and a little cheaper. Everything else rides up on me.

  12. I get 6 pairs of Fruit of the Loom Coolzone boxer briefs (assorted colors) for $18.18 on Amazon.

  13. We wear more fabric, and it’s usually thicker fabric with more stitching.

It’s just gonna be more expensive by default.

  14. If he’s ever had chafing issues don’t buy cheap underwear and find out his preferred style, brand and size. Otherwise you run the risk of them sitting in the back of his underwear drawer so he doesn’t have to brave the risk of being rubbed red raw in his no go zone.

  15. For something awesome try to find merino wool ones.

Icebreaker’s are not cheap but last and last and last. You’ll never be able to go back to cotton though as a heads up

  16. I try to check places like TJ Maxx, JC Penny, and Nordstrom Rack. They can have the really nice Calvins for $10-20.
