At work people will always tease me in negative ways but not anyone else. Not harsh teasing but its always something negative like making fun of how shy or quiet i am in some way. People tease others at work ocassionally but its never for something like that. It seems like they always get teased for something positive. It gets a bit tiring, especially when they do it in front of a crowd (which is usually when it happens smh). I know they probably mean no harm but i hate being the butt of a joke. Im just lucky my skin doesnt show blushing bc id be red as a tomato everyday

this happens to me constantly, it always bothers me and it’s hard to not take it personal but I realized people only tease me about being shy and quiet because that’s pretty much all they know about me so they can’t think of anything else to joke about to break the ice. Most people who aren’t quiet probably don’t view being shy and quiet as a negative thing so they just don’t know how annoying it is to hear comments about it all the time
