Hey guys (24M), so over the years I have had some friends and some women I have been romantically interested in, but they tend to wait until like 12:30-2AM to reply to my messages.
Is this a red flag that they don’t want a response from me immediately so do this just to avoid that, because I’m sleeping at that time? In other words, they aren’t interested in conversation so limit it to one message per day?
Or are some people busy all day and up at night with free time? Thanks

Unless the stakes are really high, I’ve found it helpful to assume the more benign possibility

If they weren’t interested in the conversation (and were honest with themselves about it), they wouldn’t reply at all. – Nevertheless, the question is – are _you_ interested in this style of conversation? You don’t sound particularly happy about it.
If they’re texting you at all its a good sign
