I’ve been speaking to this girl for 3-4 weeks now. We went out on 2 dates since I was moving out of the city. We had hit it off pretty well and so we continued talking even after I left.
Over the last couple of days, I’ve been sensing, she’s been pulling back. I’m not sure if she’s playing some sort of game or blowing me off.
When she responds it always has stuff like kiss emojis but it’s not like she’s making any effort to ask me about me/my day. On the flip side, I have tried to inquire when she has had a stressful day.
On the last message, she had told me she was having really stressful days at work (responding a day later on Friday morning) and something shitty happened but she didn’t want to talk about it.
I haven’t been responded for the last 2 days yet due to some circumstances.
Anyway, how should I know is she being distant because of her work situation or does she need space?

Probably a bit of both. You can give it time and see what happens, and in the meantime match her energy. But if she doesn’t start initiating contact, then then you’ll know you’re not a priority.
