I went on a first date with a guy this week. It went well and we took a stroll after dinner. We’ve been texting and somehow the topic of board games came up and he asked if that would be a weird second date. I said it wouldn’t but because he’s currently living with his parents its just assumed it would be at my place. I’m cool with that but don’t want him to assume coming to my house means anything. How do I say that?

It’s ok to have him over. Keep the bedroom door shut and stay sober. He may genuinely want to play boardgames and get to know you better.
Stand your ground and don’t be afraid to end the date if it goes awry.
