Why does eye contact with women feel nice and natural but with other men it feels weird and “challenging”

   I’m guessing it has to do something about your environment and the men around you and what they consider normal etiquette? (“stare this person down till they piss their pants!!”)

   from my experience i can maintain an average ok eye contact with both women and men (though it feels awkward after a while but that’s a me problem)

2. It’s more normal to make eye contact, acknowledge the other person (like with a head nod) and then look somewhere else so they can be free to do the same. If you keep eye contact you are not letting them break eye contact because you are signaling that they are of interest to you and one of the reasons may be that you want to attack them.
