Like it’s like, idek know if i like them because i like them or because they are being hard to get.

I think specially when there is half interest.

No interest, you don’t even think
Clear interest, becomes boring.

But hot and cold 💀
I’m forever wondering what I could do right to keep them coming and there is always this half hope that they might he interested, making you spiral into overthinking and finding reasons.

  1. Time apart makes the heart grow fonder. So they say.

But seriously that is why people wait before replying. Studies show that you spend more time thinking about someone that doesn’t reply right away.

It is odd. The people that are interested get ignored for being interested.

  2. Hahah yea I hate this about myself… if someone I’m attracted to gives me all the attention I want to step away.

When the same person withdraws, I want to bring down heaven and earth to “get them back”.

I have read attachment theory, and doing the quiz I feel like I’m both anxiously and avoidantly attached… I am a mess.

  3. I’d look into why you’re drawn to people who only give you breadcrumbs, I wouldn’t say it’s abnormal but it’s bad for the psyche

  4. it is could be ok if it is not affecting your self esteem, not making trust issues in relationships…but in 99% of cases it will lead to deeper problems and inability to build healthy relationships. It is called avoidant attachment. You can always go to therapy.

  5. Not for me personally. Ive always considered that to be more of a female trait. Anytime a girl did that I unmatched/unfollowed/talked to their friend/immediately moved on to the next girl. As a male it turns me off and rubs me as childish… but I’m 24. My girlfriend now actually pursued me and showed immediate interest and didn’t play those games, thats why I cuffed her. I used to do that whole showing half interest thing when I was in high school

  6. Yes, we normally want what we can’t have. At this junction we learn how to respect ourselves and walk away from what isn’t for us.
