I’ve never heard of them. I’m guessing they’re not common, but perhaps some communities make them.
No but those sound delicious
That’s not a thing I’ve ever heard of

Haven’t personally heard of them until this post.
No. Where is this done?
I’ve seen this with peanut butter instead of chocolate somewhere, but I don’t remember it being a Christmas thing
Never.
Curious where you’re from as I’ve never heard of that.
I’ve had them before but I don’t associate them with Christmas.
I have never heard of this what
No but my family will next Halloween, which is more of a chocolate holiday.
Make what now?
I had to Google it.
Turns out my friend made these last night and gave me a few. I had no idea they were called chocolate spiders. I believe she calls them chocolate haystacks.

Not the most glamorous shot but there it is.
I’ve never heard of that.
No. I can confidently say I’ve never heard of anyone making them anywhere, or of them in general.
A staple for the holidays with my parents, but they always called them “[Chinese New Year cookies.](https://www.chocolateslopes.com/chinese-new-year-cookies/)”
Looks like it’s not that common of a name for them though, that was the only one when I googled it that actually looked like them.
