  1. Chinese takeout. As tradition dictates, from the closest and most convenient place rather than any measurement of what is the best Chinese takeout in town.

  2. Leftovers.
Last night we had a big pot of Beef bourguignon, mashed potatoes and a lot of sparkling wine

  3. It’s just my dad and me today, so we’re having our favorite meals (eggplant parmigiana for him, chow mei fun for me).

This is Christmas #2 for us. I think we’re having pot roast for Christmas #3 later this week.

  4. Some vacuum packed turkey from Thanksgiving, a spiral cut honey ham, mashed potatoes, vacuum packed corn from summer, green beans with shellies, and assorted breads and biscuits.

  5. Roast leg of lamb, mashed potatoes, gravy, and some sort of vegetables (I’m not cooking the veggies so idk what it will be).

  6. Spicy Twice Cooked Pork from a Chinese restaurant.

Our more traditional Christmas dinner is tomorrow

  7. I don’t know, but I’m sure it’s gonna be delicious since my father in law is cooking!

  8. Beer is food. Also watching football all day. Real football, not the one where guys run around chasing a ball and fall down pretending to be injured and they never score.

  9. Deposit being ethnically Mexican and having a freezer full of tamales, my family is having lasagna.

  10. Prime rib, potatoes, and whatever sides everyone brings: Mac n cheese, asparagus, wine, Christmas salad, bourbon, fried shrimp, beer, etc.

  11. We’re having dry rubbed roasted duck, baked yams, garlic mashed potatoes, twice baked potatoes, mole poblano over rice, apple tarts and watermelon rind pie.

  12. tamales. my family isn’t huge on Christmas and we’re not Latino but it’s always a good time for tamales. (as long as you don’t have to make them yourself, which I didn’t.)

  13. Smoked brisket tamales, pozole, charro beans, and a bunch of snacks that my sister makes. My friend made us some Derby pies and added some bourbon to it so I’m really looking forward to that. And probably a lot of booze. I love Christmas!

  14. My mom’s making a ham, and I’m making roast potatoes, brussels sprouts, and a winter salad for the side. And my sister’s making pie!
