So What did you all get for Christmas?

1. Some candy and a check.

2. Socks. Fuck yeah!

3. I got some tshirts and a Ted Lasso wall calendar

4. Air fryer and a clear ice cube tray.

5. My girlfriend got me a vintage Dopp kit from roughly the late 50s/early 60s.

6. I got a terrible headache due to the constant fire alarms. Turns out a pipe in the apartment complex’s sprinkler system burst

7. New ear buds and new slippers.

8. Nothing because I stayed in the comfort of my own home and far away from my family

   But I do plan on giving them their gifts when I see them next month lol

9. A new wallet, a knife set, and a toolbox.

   Oh, and the FBI finally approving by background check.

10. I got to hang out with my daughter and fry a Turkey.

11. A wonderful, heartfelt letter from my girlfriend about what I mean to her. It’s one of my most treasured possessions now.

    I guess I did receive joy from making several other families happy. I sent presents to friends and their kids, including a massive package that I hope makes it to Kyiv.

    I don’t want for anything. I don’t need fancy things.

12. I got new speakers for my truck

13. Chocolate, Socks, $50 Door Dash card, a coupon book from my daughter, a USB cord and an oversized throw blanket.

    It’s the thought it counts.

14. News Legos, three new t-shirts, some Lebowski art, new wipers, and some Dioscorea elephantipes seeds.

16. Shoes and socks. Sucks to be old.

17. Bourbon, lots of it.

18. I got drunk.

19. I got a Die cast replica of Roman Grosjean’s Indycar, a tee shirt with all of the 2022 F1 tracks, and a bottle of nice Irish whiskey. My wife and daughter got like socks or a toy or something.

20. A membership to some local museums, which includes free admission for myself and a guest for the next year. Right up my alley and a very pleasant surprise!

21. Silicon baking mats, pasta maker attachment for my kitchen aid, slippers, professional pics of my kids, slippers, alcohol, and money. Lol oh – and my youngest son drew me 2 pics of cats, and my oldest drew me a pic of Patrick Bateman. My 2 fave gifts!

23. My kids gave me the flu!

24. I got a drop in card for a local pottery studio (not where I usually go, for boring reasons I can’t go there for a little bit) and a gift card to another local pottery studio in the amount they charge for a raku workshop! I’m really excited, I’ve been wanting to do raku for awhile!

25. Socks boxers sweatpants and cash. 22 year old me would have been pissed. Me at 32 couldn’t be more thrilled

26. I got a hoodie, a onesie, a book, socks, stockings, and a set of packing containers with wooden tops.

28. Earrings, toothbrush, and portable charger. The earrings I had already ordered myself and paid for and was told I’ll pay you back for those and they can be your Christmas gift.

29. Jewelry, LV purse, perfume, books, money. Best was time with my family since I live out of town.

30. I spent my day working 2200 miles from home getting everyone’s power on out on the east coast

31. Samsung tablet, a plant, a neck warmer, Amazon gift card, tin of cookies, two throw blankets, and cash.

    The most important thing was being to spend a few days with my parents who I haven’t seen since before Covid.

32. A bag I wanted, some shoes I wanted, a sweater I wanted. Lol. My SO got the Starry Night and Seinfeld Lego sets and I’m super excited to help build those.

    I bought myself an old guitar [amp](https://imgur.com/a/YALpE9q) from the ‘70s last month and it felt like Christmas came early then

    Edit: Others have posted they’re having a drink so I guess it’s only fair I state I’m killing a bag in my volcano trying to get an appetite for a second dinner

48. Me and my wife (married 8 days ago) sorted magic cards that we drafted on our honeymoon.

49. We don’t share gifts. Told the kids at 18 done with gift exchanges. We would rather help out during the year. Just get together and eat and have a good time. We give money to charities and encourage adult children to do the same. We have worked hard to what we have, and feel we need to help others.
