I have social anxiety and I’m a little socially awkward. But my mom is hosting a Christmas party at our house, so I am going to be forced to help host. Since the entire family will be coming, even the relatives I’ve never met in my life because they live in a different continent, I don’t know what to talk about to start conversation. I’m trying my hardest to barely use my phone so I can push myself to actually try and socialize so please any and all advice would be appreciated. I wish I could run away from this, but I can’t.
