Hello everyone I am in need of advice. I have now been on 7 dates with 7 different women and I have not been able to get a second date with any of them. On this last date I went on the Wednesday before Christmas. It was with a girl in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I live in Fairfield, Connecticut. She was my first successful swipe on bumble as my other dates were through Coffee meets Bagel. I talked to her over text for two weeks before we decided to meet up for a date. I asked for something in the middle like NYC. She on the other hand wanted to meet in Philadelphia. Being the gentleman that I am I agreed to meet her in the fine establishment of IHop near her house because of the chivalry and decorum that a man is supposed to express to a woman. I started my journey at 7am from CT and made it there at the time of our date. I dressed like a proper gentleman in my best hand tailored 3 piece suit that I had just picked up from the dry cleaners the day before. But to my shock she showed up to this fine pancake establishment in her pajamas. After talking for a bit she expressed that she just wanted to find friends through the app. I went full of pancakes and sorrow. I do not understand what I did wrong. For a little background I am from the great nation of India so I am new to this American dating culture. If someone can give me some advice at what I did wrong I would appreciate it since after all all I did was behave like a gentleman.

It would’ve made more sense if you went to the opera or symphony. It seems that you were not dressed appropriately and didn’t pick up on basic social cues like common sense fashion code. Also, you live pretty far from her so maybe she didn’t want anything serious with someone that lives so far from her. I don’t know what you did on your other dates so can’t advise you there
