Miles had always been honest with me from the start, he’s let me know that he used to hookup with Katie and Veronica, sometimes at the same time. But they were young and stupid and didn’t know any better. They haven’t for 3 years.
His friend group is tightly knit, they take a vacation every year to Katie’s cabin for 2
Weeks, other times they stay at Lionel’s lake house for a month every summer. But I’m not invited to any of these, which I of course understand.
But it just makes me feel excluded and makes me feel like I don’t know him as well as his friends do.
How can I escape this feeling ?
