There are a number of things you can do to have shiny hair. Some people prefer to use natural methods while others use products. Here are a few things you can do: – Use a clarifying shampoo every once in a while to get rid of product buildup. – Use a deep conditioner at least once a week. – Rinse your hair with cold water after shampooing and conditioning. – Try not to over wash your hair as it can strip away natural oils.

Rosemary oil mixed in with extra virgin olive oil weekly has done wonders for my hair.
A rosemary and apple cider vinegar rinse! Has made my hair so shiny, soft and bouncy!

High protein diet and multivitamins. No silicone products (I have wavy hair and swear by Cantu products if you are in the US), air dry them, no heat treatments at all, and use only a wide tooth comb. No brushes, no fine tooth combs.

Do a cold rinse after washing your hair.
i love shiny hair so i spent a lot of time looking for tips and i found a lot that work for me.
1. you need healthy hair. reduce heat as much as possible and make sure you’re eating right. be gentle when brushing (brush from bottom to top).
2. oiling. i use argan on my ends every night and once i get out of the shower. i also use the mielle rosemary oil on scalp but that’s more for hair growth.
3. a leave in conditioner. this really helps. it’s even better if it comes with heat protectant factor. put it on right before the oil after shower.
4. hair mask. i use the raw sugar one from target for $10 and it’s amazing, but mostly any hair mask will help with improving shine.
5. acv rinse. every other shower. 1:4 (apple cider vinegar:water). soak it through your hair after shampoo but before conditioner.
6. if you blow dry your hair, blow downwards to close the cuticle.
7. cold water rinse. you should use lukewarm water throughout the shower to help your hair absorb your products, but right before you get out let your hair be rinsed with cold water.
8. protect your hair when you sleep. silk pillow cases. leaving your hair down causes damage.
