Watch some college football and then to bed early. Lol.
Pick a country whose midnight is at your dinnertime and have food from there. Repeat with a new country for each time zone until midnight.
Celebrate New Year’s multiple times and share the moment with the rest of humanity.
This is my first new year on the east coast, I’m sure there’s something to do in Boston but I’m almost tempted to go to NYC
My daughter is throwing a New Year’s party for her and her friends. She got a box of decorations and activities from her aunt. They won’t be staying up until midnight but we will stream some fireworks shows and have a fake countdown endorse their bedtime.
College football watching. Not what you were looking for, but I wanted to share.
I am going to hang out with my wife until she goes to bed (probably around 9pm) and then I’m sitting on my butt and playing video games.
It’s not very exciting but we just got married and did the holidays over two very busy weeks, so I’m looking forward to doing as little as possible this weekend.
Hanging with my dog until we fall asleep at like 10pm
Be in bed by 10:30.
Eat Chinese food, set off fireworks, then go to bed
Cleaning the house.
Staying home. My wife wants to have some prosecco and stay up to watch the ball drop, but we have a 6 week old baby so we’re probably sleeping by 10.
Same as any other evening- I’ll fall asleep in front of the television around 8pm, wake up around midnight, and do absolutely nothing useful until I get sleepy again.
Bake chocolate Madeleines with family and watch the ball drop in New York.
Hanging out with friends drinking beers.
I haven’t done anything special for New Years in like a decade. I guess I’ll pay rent that day. Le sigh.
The college football semifinals are that night, I’m gonna sit on my ass and watch, and eat and drink White Russians (my traditional winter drink).
The second game starts at 8pm Eastern which should put the ending after 11pm. Probably take an edible and watch whatever old movie they’re showing on tv after that and pass out
Drinking beer
Go to work, go home, play video games, listen to music, go to bed
Hang out with the kids and do all the fan-fair, then watch them slowly fall asleep on the couch waiting for midnight. Every year they’re all “Nah Dad! We’re going to stay up all night tonight!! You’ll see!” All three asleep on the couch by 10, maybe 10:30.
My town’s library does a New Years Eve party for kids. Crafts and games and a countdown…at noon.
Sleeping
I’ve got a 2 year old and 5 year old so…
Passing out on the couch by 11pm, waking up probably around 2 am and dragging myself to bed
I’m going to watch the Times Square ball drop with my family.
Remember that the NYC ball drop is at 8pm my time and go to bed at 8:15.
I’m working (yay medical field). My wife and kid will probably hang out at home until they go to bed.
I’m actually having Christmas on New Years Eve since mine was postponed. My parents lost power for 4 days last week because of a big storm, so we couldn’t d it last week.
Probably go shooting during the afternoon. Evening plans? Meh… Just another day.
The usual. Going to bed at 8:00 pm.
Having family over tonight for apps because my partner has to work tomorrow night so I’ll just sit alone like a loser and watch the ball drop 🤣
