So pretty much me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 5-6 months. He would always get mad at me for complimenting my friends and stuff. He’s always accuse me of cheating and such. Well last night I got a text from one of our friends telling me that my bf had been texting him flirty stuff. I asked for screenshots and I got them. My bf was saying stuff like “I miss you” and “wanna call, I miss your voice.” And “wow seen? You’ve moved on ig” when I confronted my boyfriend about this he got mad but stated that he was just messing with him. I really love my boyfriend and I want to believe him but how am I supposed to believe that? I just need to know how to talk to him about this and what I should do. It’s been messing with my mental health a lot.

And by how he’s accusing you of “cheating and such”, sounds like he may have a guilty conscience.
Regardless of what those texts meant, he sounds insecure and controlling. I’m sure these are not the only instances of that sort of behavior.
